Yess Product Manager

Yess is the AI sales copilot for service businesses. Yess helps agencies and solopreneurs automate and streamline the end-to-end workflow, hence 10x scale their business, not headcounts. Yess wants to be the business infrastructure and ecosystem for ambitious and talented service entrepreneurs.

As a vertical B2B SaaS product with an ambitious vision, it is necessary to control the balance between the quality of various features and the seamless user experience. As an AI product leading the market, it is necessary to learn and experiment fast.

Considering the complicated nature of our journey, aligning the product roadmap with our vision and business strategy is crucial. This is why Yess is looking for ambitious product managers to act as mini CEOs.

What we will achieve together:

Our current goal is to find the product-market fit by growing the customer base and generating revenue. Product managers will focus on activation and retention until Q3 of 2024 and revenue from Q4 of 2024.

There are three main objectives of high priorities:

  1. Reducing the time-to-value(TTV)
    1. To define key activities and find solutions to make new users take those actions asap
  2. Reducing the conversion cost
    1. To define barriers for new users to adopt Yess as the operating system of their businesses
    2. To experiment with our pricing models by calculating the benefits and costs of customers
  3. Enhancing the stickiness
    1. To define who is/isn’t sticky to Yess and find solutions to make our ICPs addicted to the product
    2. To prioritize features to contribute to the growth of KPIs and roadmap

What you’ll do at Yess:

Yess product managers will handle the general product strategy and design & development process.

  1. Collaborate directly with the CEO to lead the product-led growth
  2. Contribute to the overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
  3. Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
  4. Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, business, and marketing
  5. Create a product roadmap and set appropriate KPIs
  6. Prioritize product launches and manage a backlog of product releases
  7. Gather customer satisfaction data and analyze product data that contributes to business objectives
  8. Lead the product team and communicate with team members

Some projects you could work on:

  1. Improving AI features that really work for our customers in reality
  2. Developing extended use cases with automation and integration
  3. Building new business models within the value chain

How you’ll make decisions:

We deep dive into our customers’ real workflows, lives, and success to make our solution work right. At Yess, we use a two-dimension framework to design the user experience:

  1. Plus Plus (+ +)
    1. Goal: Differentiation with maximizing satisfaction
    2. Questions
      1. Which critical problems are worth solving?
      2. How have these problems been solved so far? Satisfied?
      3. Which solution would create a differentiated value?
  2. Minus Minus (- -)
    1. Goal: Basic usability with removing the disqualification
    2. Questions
      1. Which requirements should be necessarily met?
      2. What makes users not use or adopt Yess?
      3. When do users churn out?
